Today’s guest is Dr. Trevor Cates, a nationally-recognized naturopathic physician, author of the Amazon best-selling book Clean Skin From Within, and founder of The Spa Dr., a natural skincare line. She has been a physician for 20 years but began to focus on the skin 10 years ago when she realized that the skin is an external reflection of internal health. Her interest in natural medicine began in her childhood when a holistic physician was the only one who could help her with allergies and eczema. At an early age, she realized how connected the body is. Dr. Cates received her medical degree from the National University of Natural Medicine and was the first woman to be licensed as a naturopathic physician in the state of California.
